Hello Dan, I'm Debbie living in Waycross. My husband and I are retired. My husband retired 2 years ago this past Nov. I just retired the end of 2012. We too are working on building a farm. We have chickens, 2 Royal Palm tom turkeys, 4 donkeys, and a male and female Flemish Giant rabbit. Our female just had babies. We have Black Copper Marans, Cuckoo Marans, Rhode Island Red, Wheatons. I think that covers it give or take one or two. I just found this page. I was searching for ordinances in Waycross/Ware concerning backyard chickens. We have our farm, however, we are currently living in our house in the county but in a neighborhood.
