Hello from West Virginia

ouch! lol will be advised. Two Creeks Farm I think I just stumbled upon your facebook page. How are the turkeys? I'd love to get some (next year)! How hard are they to keep in comparison to say chickens or ducks? Also are you going to that poultry swap in Sharpsburg, MD next saturday? Sounds like it could be a fun time.

They are all doing well. I did loose one last week, not sure what her problem was, but the rest are doing very well. Pretty easy to take care of, most of them come to my call and will bug hunt non-stop around the house. Easy as chickens...not as much "attitude" as ducks.

I wish I could make the swap/show, I will be out of state working that weekend:(

So you let them free range? Do they get along alright with ducks and chickens?

Thats too bad about you being out of town next weekend. We just moved to the area and would love to meet some locals!

Hey there!

Yes and No...I allow them out when I am out which is most of the day. They are so bad now that I have to put them up if I want to mow or run equipment, they are not scared to fly to me when I am on the move. They pay no real nevermind to the other birds. My Cornish got into their pen today and they werent happy, took me near all day to get things right. I have 14 BBB's, 4 Wild Easterns, 2 Penciled Palms and a Bronze/Spanish all doing very well together so if they want feed and what not they will continue haha. I think the 25 Freedom Rangers are keeping everyone else busy, dang if they arent a brave and heaty bunch!

You should have a blast at the show.....I was over there the other day and its killing me to miss it but I have to work! Make sure you have some coop space, and some form of way to get birds home haha

Hey 2 creeks. I am getting some royal palm poults so, Im just starting over with them and will let the boy go. He's a steal at 20 bucks. He has no yellow and a nice balance of black and white and was the biggest, most dominant out of 4 gobblers I raised. If you can't make it to the swap, I can hold him for you or possibly meet you in Hagerstown. I think you should call in
