Hi ya's, glad to be here, neat to read so much, live on farm in the wheatbelt of WA, at the moment very hot summer,have 8 thousand acres so plenty of room for my orpingtons, have blue,black, buff and white, good hardy birds for our weather here, nice to get fresh eggs and love their antics,very friendly and yep I often get a call on my mobile wondering if I am still with the chooks !! its either the chooks or the horse, any excuse not to be doing other chores

From Melbourne..... Wow...8000 acres.... Would you rent me a few acres in a corner????? I would love a few acres somewhere nice so I can have more poultry...But I think something a little smaller would suit me.
