Hello from WNC

Hey all figured I would join the fun, I have been lurking for awhile and have learned a lot. I have a mixed flock of 12 birds now and have no idea how far this might go...lol

I'm from WNC as well. After stalking BYC for about 6 months, I finally decided to join, and I love it! I also have a mixed flock of birds, but I think I want to concentrate on the Marans. What breeds to you have?

I have 1 Orp, 3 I think are Orp mix, 4 are RIR or maybe production reds (not sure of the difference) 1 buff mutt I have no idea and 3 mix Brahma roos.I know the ratio is wrong but so far the bothers are getting along. I really like the brahmas's for personality and looks the Orp's are the best layer's. I like the verity, will probably add more Orp's and would like to get some EE or Americanus (sp?) for color.
