Hello. I’m a new member.

We currently have 6 hens, 2 Lace Wyandotte’s, 2 Barnevelders, a Rhode Island Red and a Buff Orpington. They are pets and we enjoy the eggs. We’ve been raising chickens (from pullets) since 2001.
I’ve already posted a question about Velma, the Barnevelder, who has a bum leg.
I’ve used Backyard Chickens many times. Every time I google a chicken question, the response is always form BYC. I have really appreciated the breadth of knowledge and helpfulness. So I finally joined.
