I had chickens in the 70’s & 80’s and just am starting up again.
I live in the mountains of western NC. and can’t wait to get my flock up and going.
I have three Americana females that are four months old and a Barred Rock hen that I saved from the feed store ( she was in a cage with too many and she was raw on her back) I couldn’t just leave her there! She’s giving me three eggs in four days and is looking better.
I also have six week old female French black copper Marian’s.
Not the best planning.
