my laying chickens are in a coup and a 8 ft fence at night. The last 2 night, the first night 2 chickens were eaten partially. When I went to bury the they were gone. Last night another chicken's whole body is gone and they ate like 5 eggs. HELP! Does anyone have any ideas what it is and what we can do about it?

Sorry about your losses!

Sounds like a raccoon to me. They can easily climb an 8 foot fence. You may want to post in the predators and pests section for more ideas on predator prevention. Do you have hardware cloth on your run?

Was this a daytime attack? If you make sure they are closed up in a secure coop at dusk, hopefully that will prevent night raids. A good tight run, with 12" hardware cloth instead of flimsy poultry wire will help keep predators out. A cover on your run will prevent climbers, and hawk attacks. Please do check out the predator section for ideas on driving them away., and the coop section, to learn how to construct safe areas for your birds.

So sorry for your losses
