Hi, I live in Northeastern WI and my first adventure with chickens will begin the week of June 1, 2020. I ordered from Murray McMurray hatchery two pearl white leghorn, two Ameraucana, two Whiting true blue, four Whiting true Green, two Cuckoo Maran, two Buff Orphington, two black astralorp, two black star, two blue laced red Wyandotte, and two salmon Faverolle. I am looking for the egg rainbow 
. I wish I would have included some Welsummer or black copper Marans for the dark eggs but hopefully the cuckoo Marans will give me some darker eggs. My DH and I are working on converting an old milking house attached to our barn into a chicken coop. The windows are in and the outside has been scraped for some new paint (the same color). Now we need to work on predator proofing (fixing doors and cracks in concrete floor, etc).
