Hello! I'm a new chicken owner.

Hi all,
We are the proud owner of an abandoned chicken. I am trying to find out what breed and sex.
I love this bird!
We live in Michigan and have a large back yard. This is our first chicken and so far so good!
We did not have a coop for the first night. I do NOT recomend the bathroom as a temp. coop! LOL!

I believe that's an easter egger (mixed breed) rooster. He's quite handsome!

That is quite a beautiful chicken u have got there. He (from the pix i think he's a rooster) looks like an Araucana.

Yep, I am told (from this group) He is an EE cockrel. I have found him a home north of here.
He gets to live with some emus! LOL!
We are hopefully getting a 10+ week old Black Coper Maran X Aurucana.
We will really miss this guy! We are not allowed roosters here.
