Hello, everyone!
My husband grew up with chickens (still had two when we started dating 30 years ago) and I've always thought they were neat. We finally decided to get a couple for our backyard. During the 3 day weekend, last weekend, we tore down our old Bunny hutch and enclosure and built a new chicken coop and run. It just needs some finishing touches....a door to the run and to secure the wire at ground level and few other places. Then we just need to purchase some supplies and CHICKENS!!! My husband just wants to start out with two and we're looking at getting a Barred Plymouth Rock and maybe a Rhode Island Red, probably pullets. Any recommendations or suggestions appreciated!
