My name is Christina, I now have 4 ducks. 2 baby Pekins and 2 baby Mallards. They think of me as mom I suppose. They follow me everywhere and when they're scared they run to me. My Mallards are now 15 days old and my Pekins are 11 days old. They're thriving and are starting to develop their own personalities. I received them unsexed. Sooo..will be the watch and wait game. They're on a duckling grower feed and I crush up meal worms for them for a treat which they love. I have set up a kiddie pool with a filter to keep their water fresh and OH MY LORD do they love to swim. The Mallards in particular love to swim under the water now. When they're done they usually nap under the heat lamp. I haven't had any issues with them getting too cold. As warned by many posts and books. I towel dry them when they get out and usually shortly thereafter they're jumping back into the pool. My Mallards growth rate is astonishing. Anyhoot, just an update on my end!
