Hi out there! I"m wondering if anyone can tell me if it is safe to feed my chickens some rolled oats that had mildew growing on the bags? The mildew or whatever it is grew in the cellar over the winter in between the bags, the oats look good except for some stuck on the bag.......would hate to throw out but don't want to make my hens sick! Anyone?

I wouldn't. I can't speak too much to chickens (as I am a newbie), but I can speak to horses...and I would pitch the bag to be on the safe side. The mold on the bag, coupled with the oats sticking to the side make me think the whole sack has been compromised with moisture...and you can't be sure that you won't end up mold/mycotoxins throughout. BUT, I probably waste more feed than I need to. If feed/hay/etc. looks or smells even slightly off, I pitch it (under the theory that it is cheaper to lose a bag of feed/bale of hay than pay a couple hundred dollars in vet bills for a horse colic, or lose some birds).
