Thank you! I will check out the Michigan thread! Feels like a busy time of year and I just had shoulder surgery....ahhh being 60...so I'm shoulder deep in all kinds of things around the farm! Where are you located?

I know how that is. I'm from kalamazoo area so it's about an hour

My son lives in Kalamazoo Just off Oakland. What kind of chickening do you do?

I'm getting my batch soon from a breeder I've been in contact with. Mostly be using them for eggs to sell at the farmer market along with vegetables, fruits, flowers, and trees I grow

Hi Chicken friends! I live in Lowell, Michigan. 4 years ago we bought a farmhouse on 18 acres with our son and Dil and their 3 kids. We are in the early stages of homesteading. We have 23 hens and 1 rooster right now but will be adding 15 fancy chicks in June. I'm excited to learn and be inspired by everything on this site.
