Hello, I'm new to the site and new to quail raising

Any idea why my 8 week old quail are not laying eggs? They are in a nice hutch outdoors they have country game it's feed from our local feed store and plenty of daylight in warm weather. I know they have a season, but do I need to put artificial light on them if they are outdoors?

Sorry I don't know about quail but if you put "Quail thread," in the search box it should up. Then you can post questions to folks who breed & raise them . Welcome to BYC.
