Hello-I'm new

Hi there-

I am currently just starting out and am getting my chickens this Sunday. We have our run setup and are almost done with our coop. We are getting two laying hens, one rooster, and 4 pullets. What should I feed these two different ages of chickens? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the insanity. Depending on how old the pullets are, you can feed them all a layer food if the pullets are about 8 weeks old. All of ours start out on chick starter and at 8 weeks go to layer and have had no problems.

As for the food, since they are off starter? Just feed them the same.
