hello I'm new

hi I'm a new chicken keeper for my birthday I purchased myself 3 chickens and all the set up!
They are at pol and I'm so excited for the arrival of my first egg!!!!!!!
Ive got the breeds wrote down but the white one is called Maggie, the red one is called chilli and the black one pepper
All advice greatly received especially on how to tell when there ready to lay

How old are they? When they get close to laying, their combs, faces and wattles will turn very red. When they start squatting for you when you lean over them, then the eggs will be coming down the pipe soon!

Yes will Maggie is my white one and her head and chin gear does seem to be very red and yesterday she started squatting / laying to the floor when I go to pick her up.
They are all 19 weeks old

yeah just to update everyone my first egg arrived this morning from lovely Maggie ( white star )
Only thing it was quite small is this normal?

That's a pullet egg, they will get larger as she continues to lay.

yeah she been laying every day except yesterday but then she laid again today they have been getting bigger like you said today was a lot bigger almost the size of a large.
My road rock looks like she getting ready soon also I'm so enjoying being a chicken keeper thanks to everyone on here who has helped me and given advice
