Hello, I'm Phil

Hello Phil and welcome!

Wow, you certainly have a love for the exotics! And it sounds like you really know your stuff......I was just at an exotics sale in Mt. Hope Ohio, where they had camels, deer, elk, a badger, a young male giraffe, and several others that I didn't get to see.......They also had several exotic birds....peacocks, beautiful colorful pheasants, parrots and more.....

Sounds like you live in a wonderful place as well......Wow, you've had a cougar take prey right in your front yard! Amazing! I live out in the country, and we've got a small 6 acre woods, and we do see wild turkeys, deer and some other wildlife......We actually had a doe give birth to a fawn in our back yard, in some tall, new grass we had planted. It was wonderful! I was picking up sticks and such, and I nearly stepped on the poor little fawn. It layed there, cryptic. It's only defense. Mama was no where around, but she was always close. The little fawn was with us for about three days, and then I guess it was strong enough to travel, so off it went with it's mother. We didn't tell the kids or neighbors because we were afraid they would try and touch it and interfere.......

Welcome and I hope you enjoy the site! I don't know alot about the exotics except that they're beautiful....Seems comforting to know you have the facilities for them so t hey can enjoy a happy life!

Take care,
Sharon
