This is my first time logging in, but I've been reading quite a bit here for some time.
I've been telling my husband for years that I wanted chickens, and he finally agreed!
We don't have any yet. We live in the city, and we're trying to de-code our city ordinance
to find out if we're able to based on our yard size. (If anyone is familiar with specifications of those, I'd love some help!)
We're looking at getting 4-6 chickens, and so far both love the idea of silkies, but they seem hard to come by around here. ISA brown chickens are my second choice. We'd love some extra eggs but mostly we're just happy to add some friendly yard companions.
