(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have been keeping chickens for a little over 4 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 6 lovely egg-laying hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have what I love to call the Marshmellow troupe. 2 Leghorns, 2 Tetra Browns, and 2 Austrolorps. (that's what I think they are called.)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love how much my chickens are bonded to me. They all have different personalities and attitudes. They all have different little quirks that make them all special.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am an artist and photographer.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have three dogs and a cat. The dogs coexist with my chickens pretty well....most of the time. My cat is strictly indoors.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC when I needed some help when one of my chickens was sick. She has a sour crop and needed proper care and treatment and I found it here.
