Welcome to the board Diana, and as everyone pointed out your in the right place for the addiction. What kind of chicks did you get?

I am already hooked on BYC! I ordered what is called Rainbow layers from MMH. I know I have some easter eggers, a black "americauna", it looks like two black jersey giants if their coloring serves correctly .They have the dark legs black feathering and yellow on the bottom of the feet. There is a blue auraucana, some white leg horns and the rest are to be determined as I can identify them. I am hoping a couple are buff orpingtons but time will tell. They are changing every day. I have 23 running around in their brooder right now. I guess I jumped in with both feet. The mixture was to be at least five different breeds picked from heavies, auraucanas, the rare and unusual breeds and white egg layers. These birds will lay either white, brown or colored eggs. I thought they would be an interesting start. Feathersite has been great for helping identify them. I was going to start small. ...Well I WAS..lol! Diana
