Hello--Need help

Hi everyone ,
i am new to this hobby like to raised few chicken for eggs in my back yard so first all need to know can we keep chickens in back yard i leave in conroe tx ?
secondly how do i start ?

It is best to call your local municipal building to see if you are allowed to have chickens. You are in the right place to start raising your own flock, this site is outstanding and the members are full of knowledge.

X2 on calling your local city hall and asking them. They should be able to tell you all you need to know.

You can also chat with your chicken neighbors in your state thread to see if anyone nearby keeps poultry in your area...

I found the answer to my questions on line through here. And was lucky enough that when we moved to our current house, I have a neighbor down the road who also has chickens.
