Hello everyone, name is Lauren and my husband came across this chick in the middle of the road a few days ago with no mom or other chickens around and of course i couldn’t leave it there. So now i’m a mom again lol. so yes very new to chickens, i know close to nothing about them or how to care for one. I wish i knew what kind of breed or gender it is but maybe you guys can help me out on that. I would love for it to be a female so i can collect some eggs but who knows.
I currently work in law enforcement in Miami and i’m married with one two-ager
. We also have 2 dogs and a fish tank.
I really hope i can learn a lot from this forum so i don’t fail this little chick. Pictures below!
