I have 4 beautiful girls that my children and I adore. On Saturday, I noticed my runt silkie, Phelps, was kind of isolating herself and not interested in her treats. I brought her in for a warm "bath" thinking that she maybe egg bound since she has not layed her 1st egg yet and is almost 7 mos old (she is very small). On Sunday, she was very lethargic with her head hanging down (her head almost appeared to be shaking) and "licking" frequently. I again gave her another warm bath, and a few drops of Gatorade, placed her in my bath tub on a heating pad to spend the night. She perked up a bit this morning to say hi but looks very weak. I am so worried. She is not crop bound but is not eating, nor moving around. She did finally poop once over night.
Any thoughts are welcomed!!!!

The photo of her stance indicates she's sick. That's about all we can tell you at this point without way more information.

It may or may not be egg related. For starters, take a photo of her poop and post it.

Look at her vent. Is she leaking fluids? Is her butt fluff wet and covered in white or clear mucous-like fluid? Does it look like she's trying to get a poop out? Push on her vent. Does she squat and try to poop?

When was the last time you saw her behaving normally? What has gone on in her life since? What has she been given to eat? List every single thing.

I have my neighbor tending her today since I have to be away this morning but I will post her poop as soon as I can but will not be till this afternoon.

She is not leaking any fluids from her vent, her butt fluff is covered in white "poop like" fluid.
She was acting normal as of Friday, she ran to me for their afternoon snack which was meal worms.
It was Saturday that I noticed she was hiding alone in the corner. I watched her and never saw her eat, just sleeping. She did go in and out of the coupe Saturday and looked so weak yesterday, I brought her in.
I can't think of anything tramatic that may have happened.

It can take some time and observation to help determine what is wrong. I would continue to offer fluids and electrolytes, gatorade, or pedialyte. Scrambled egg is good to offer. Check her crop to see if their is food in it. Tell us if it is empty and flat, full, hard, doughy, or puffy. Pictures of droppings may be helpful. Does she normally lay eggs yet? Was she vaccinated for anything?

I will post a pic of her droppings later but can describe hers from this morning...kind of yellow snot like instead of white with little black pellets in it.
No vaccines.
Has never laid an egg.
She just looks so lethargic but does open her eyes and lift her head to say hi.
She is not eating. I tried to give her scrambled eggs and warm mushed chicken feed but she was not interested. It is her lack of walking or standing that really concerns me today! 😔

Her crop feels empty, no discharge at her vent. My husband cleaned the tube before I got home, but her dropping are still yellow and snooty with brown/black less liquid deposits. She does seem more alert today though.
