Hello All,
I am new to owning chickens but not working with them. I work as a vet tech at a hospital where we see chickens all the time. So we decided that it was time to have our own!
We have a RIR that is 5 weeks old and a SLW that is 12 days old. They took to each other immediately and when separated panic and chirp quite loudly.
Our daughter has named them, and loves watching TV with them on her lap!
We have many other creatures at home 2 legged and 4!
