I’m glad I found this I have so much to share but I posted a help with my I home made incubator thread if u would like to go add some advice 
I got chicks last spring then 3-4 weeks after I put them outside something got them so I started over and they are alive happy Nd thriving. Well turns out I had 3 roosters will I have 2 way and kept the best RIR he is so beautiful. So I looked and found 3 Barred Rocks which are very very strong full bodied birds totally different then my RIR and 1 RIR all 4 birds already was laying so to go out and find eggs when I opened their door was so amazing and my 2 boys was so amazed thanks for reading
