Yea I was having problems at first about the RIR picking on the polish birds but, since I have started housing them an the silkies together no problems have came up. Today I had a Dominique die I just got them Saturday night my supplier told me they had a cold because of our crazy weather here hot then cold. I have been medicating them they seemed to be fine then two hours later one was died they are only 10 weeks old. Any advise they are separated from the larger birds because of weather conditions an size?
 
If they have colds try to prevent it from spreading to the rest of your flocks, possibly try to give them a little more heat and water. Hope they will be okay

Glad you joined us! Sorry to hear about the loss. If your birds are showing any sign of being unwell you should quarantine them immediately. Start a thread in the Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures forum section and give as much details as possible on the bird's symptoms etc. We have some very knowledgeable members here who can advice you on what to do. yea I separated them the first day I bought them so atleast it want spread to the rest of the flock also I started a post in the disease section an have gotten a lot of good advise so thank you for that an also thanks for the comment on my rooster.
