Hi there! I have been in love with chickens for a very long time. I have a very small farm, and have 24 chickens at the moment. I have had house roosters before, I have had Emus
(sort of like a 200 pound chicken) that is their picture on my avatar.
I have camped out in my field in tents with my chickens. My chickens had their own tent.
I have been a helper on a very large scale chicken farm, just filling in when needed.

I was chickenless for about a year of so at one time, and every day, I thought.....
Life just ain't the same with out chickens! (After the disaster of my neighbors dog getting all of my chickens, I knew I had to just NOT have them around till the cycle of him getting out and into my yard was taken care of) I just didn't want to have them to get munched on by that dog! SO ...... I have chickens again, and Life is MUCH better!

Thank you all for your welcomes!
I was just listening to the radio program here, called Trading Times, on Kzyx.
They called it Free Rooster day cause there were so many free roosters on today.
Just wonder if any one out there might be needing roosters?
I know there is a banty welsummer available, and what sounded like it might be a duck winged rooster.... by how she described him.
and there was another one hat I missed the first part of. but I am going to call all of them and see what the pertinant info is.

I will keep you all posted.

Cheers!
