Hello, New to BYC

Hello,
My family and I have a little homestead in WV. We keep goats, horses, dogs,and so on. I have kept chickens for several years, and currently have six. I recently started wanting to raise quail. Just hatched 25 cots and have 50 bob whites hatching now.

Anyway, I have relied heavily on BYC for info and figured I would join.

Welcome to BYC, Andy -- sounds like you jumped into quail with both feet -- are you planning to raise them for consumption or?

We love the eggs and meat. The whites are for older friends and family who have asked me to raise them for consumption. They miss them. I plan on releasing some on the farm.
