Just popping in to say hi and thank you for having a place for us (new and seasoned) chicken lovers.
I’ve had my 4 girls and roo for a little over a year and still learning.
I started off with adopting 8 chicks from a local farm and 7 survived. Three ended up being Roos and 4 hens. We kept the girls of course and 2 are Brown Novogens and the other 2 are Novogen Whites (this is what I was told, I honestly have no idea). I was able to rehome 2 of the roosters to the original farmer. We ended up with a mean Rooster but we have a daily routine to keep everyone safe. Maybe one day someone can help me identify his breed…?
