Hello! Newbie who just rescued an injured duck - HELP!

No vet open or able to take it. Have it in my bathtub with some towels, water, and I downloaded a night time cricket / music and have it playing in my bathroom on repeat with lights out.

I will be calling again for help tomorrow but I am not leaving it with anyone that will euthanize it.

Looks like it has a broken or injured wing and foot.

Thoughts on how to help this poor fella?

P.S. It is extremely relaxed and comfortable in my bathtub. I checked!

Do you know how to make a splint for the wing and leg ?? As this is what needs to be dune ASAP.....

Welcome to the flock . Sounds like the poor guy may have been hit by a car.

You could post on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread - photos would probably be best since no one will be there to give him a hands on examination.

Sorry about the little duck. If you think he needs to be put down, you might take him to any vet. They can safely put him down. So sorry about the little guy.
