(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens and I got both batches from tractor supply.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 17
(3) What breeds do you have? Brahma's and ICS browns
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them and of course the eggs (I haven't gotten any yet, but I hope too).
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Crocheting, reading
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 7 boys and 1 girl, all of which are grown and have families of their own. which means I have a ton of grandkids. Besides the chickens we (husband and I) have a St. Bernard, Australia Shepard and a pit bull beagle.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found you through google searches for the chicks and most of the time the answers I get are found here so I thought, hey, why not register and bookmark the page!!
