Hello! My name is Juli, as you may already tell by my user, it's a please to meet you all! :thumbsup
HELP!!!!
okay, so i have 3-6 chicken eggs. I can't afford a incubator and i've only gotten the eggs from my fathers friend. He told us that they're all born on different days, so I, of course, couldn't keep track. I've been candling them for 20 days now, and right now i seem like a failure. But as i was saying,, I have this one BIG one, and she/he is just, completely dark except for the air circulation thats in there. I cant tell if she/he is alive or not, please help me! I've been extremely worried and do not know what to do anymore. If someone could help or has an answer, PLEASE tell me!!!! :hit (I cant post any photos atm because im somewhere else.)

Welcome to BYC!! Try to get some photos uploaded as soon as you can, that’ll help us. :)

Welcome to BYC! :frow

Even if the eggs were all laid on different days.. the development for hatching does NOT start until incubatiuon is commenced.. and then they will all hatch on the same day.. a staggered hatch in nature is death to early or late hatchers.

Have you been turning these eggs every day? Do you know what your temperature or humidity have been during this time?
