yeah, even little gimpy is doing wonderful! i have to look really closely to see which one he is. his little tiny toes were so curled up and stiff when he got here. the little splint-show/boot thing i made him worked just fine. when i took it off last night i thought a miracle had happened! no bent up toes or curled up leg. he got scared and ran for what i am positive was the first time in his tiny little life!
i have the other two in a grave next to all the other pets who passed away. they are between Pooxie the button quail and Captain Bob Spartacus the betta. they have a smooth round rock i found as a gravestone. it reads "little baby chickens" with a heart on it. I visit all the graves every day and oten put a little treat on them. gummi bears, chocolate chips, bread crumbs, strawberry tops. they always disappear because of all the wild birds we have, but it's my way of letting their spirits know i will always remember them in a kind way. a little weird, i know, but is makes me feel better.
