Never heard of "rainbow" chickens before, could just be mixed breeds? or hatchery overstock? There's quite a few black chicken breeds... could be Australorp or a type of sex link. As others have mentioned, you could post some pics on the breed/gender forum. I'm thinking as your cockerels mature, they may start to fight over the ladies. Usual ratio is about 1 roo per 10 hens, though some have made it work with less. When you get more chicks, make sure they're all pullets... or... why not let your own hatch if you end up with a broody? But have a plan for the extra boys, too many cockerels can cause some troubles.
