I came to this forum because I am looking for a playmate for my young doggie. I was directed to this forum because I was told that chickens were good playmates. Was somebody pulling my chain ??
Anyhow, I had a bantam rooster pet when I was growing up. he was such a cool dude!
Any advice??

I think dogs go either one way or the other...some see chickens as prey and some can co-exist with them. I don't think they would actually play with each other. Maybe other greeters have different opinions, we'll see.

She is young, loves to play with all critters so far! We'll see the pro /cons as they come in! Riva

I wouldn't risk it, dogs are domestic wolves, the sweetest dog can try to play with the fluffy thing to find that not only is the fluffy thing fragile, it also tastes yummy....
