Hello, not a whole lot to really say about me honestly but I'll do my best:
1) I actually took care of ducks and chickens when I was a kid, a muscovy named Fluffy, and a tiny Rhode Island red rooster named Frankie (sweet birds too) it's been so long since then that I'm essentially starting from scratch though.
2) Currently I have four sex link chicks (supposedly all hens but we'll see) and two straight run pekin ducklings, I plan on adding American buff goslings and cayuga ducks to my flock at a later date
3) Favorite aspect of raising birds and animals in general really is watching them grow up and be healthy, and poultry, in particular, tend to bond with you in a really unique way that I love to death
4) My other hobbies are art, listening to music, and reading up on things like history, paleontology, mythology etc.
5) I'm a licensed pharmacy tech (a fancy way of saying I'm the guy who fills medicine at a pharmacy), I have three cats and a dog
6) Found BYC while reading up on different breeds of chicken and ducks, a really good place to find answers to questions without having to dig through countless websites and the community seemed really easygoing and welcoming, so I decided to bite the bullet and join!
