Emily, I like the guess of Barnabas - reminds me of the old, old, old afternoon soap opera
of" Dark Shadows "- on TV when I got home from high school. Barnabus Collins the vampire, Angelique the witch(who was forever in love with him) and him lusting after- oh I forget who reminded him of his long lost love who committed suicide. Of course she looked like his long lost love, most of the characters played themselves and some one else (relative or friend)

It was a hoot, the cardboard walls were always swaying back & forth. Jonathan Frid who played the vampire was always forgetting his lines

Sorry, I've been tripping down memory land a lot lately, I'm blaming it on covid brain.

No worries! When I was a teenager I had a crush on Ben Cross. I totally get it!
