Hello,

My name is Justin, a native to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I now live in Wheeling, West Virginia and have so for 15 years. I am a licensed master falconer and have held federal permits and state permits in three different states. I currently have only three owls, but have reared chickens, quail, partridge, ducks and pigeons of various sorts. I am interested in raising chickens in the coming spring but for fall I am hoping to find some 'run-of-the-mill' or so called 'barn pigeons' not wild, for sale around my area.

Thank you and I look forward to chatting with you all,

Justin

Hello Justin, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Good luck finding your pigeons.
Thank you Dobie - I also hope to pick up some ideas on raising chickens in my back yard. I had a sweet little bantam rooster years ago we named 'Elvis' who seemed to fall in love with my Citron Cockatoo...I pictured a country farm boy meeting an exotic woman from a distant land kind of thing in my head - haha - anyway, I then had Shamu's or Thai fighting chickens which I obviously had only for ethical reasons, they were cool, and reminded me of little T-Rex's.

hi Justin! Nice to meet you!

Hello Justin and welcome to BYC! :frow

Wow, Falconry, I've always wanted to try this, I've always had a fascination with birds of prey! I once got to hold a young injured then rehabilitated Red Tailed Hawk in my arm, I grinned for a full week. 😁

Best wishes finding the Pigeons you seek. 😊
