About 23 days ago my husband brought home a very large egg. He works at a learning farm of sorts and the egg was dropped by an owl. We figured the goose would not come back for it and owl lost interest. I put the egg under a heat lamp for 8 days and then candled it. To our suprize it was alive. I went out and bought a incubator and read up on geese, which I hope that's what it is. We have done everything we have read and now the egg is tapping and chirping. I think it's to early to hatch but I really didn't think it would get this far. Not sure what to do at this point. Because the time line is not adding up I'm not sure if I should keep turning and spraying it? Any advice would be great and by the way I don't see an internal pip. Help, now what?

Hi, and welcome to BYC.

Try posting this in Other Backyard Poultry (under the Forum column) and then in the geese section. Change your title to Need Help Hatching, or something like that. Might get better response that way.
