Hi! My name is Amber and I am from Texas!
I just received my chicks/ducklings from ideal poultry last night!
I am so excited but I am also a nervous wreck.... I am already WAY tooo attached!
I lost one chick and one duck but the rest seem to be fairly healthy.

I have three barred rocks and two pekins... and for now I have 13 packing peanuts that I am going to be rehoming.

Oh my, that is a lot of packing peanuts - shows you how little value the hatcheries have for cockerels. Welcome to Backyard chickens, hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Hi :welcome Amber

Glad you could join the flock! Congrats on your new chicks/ducklings :celebrate
Sorry to hear you lost a couple :hugs

Good luck with the rehoming. Hope you enjoy BYC, I'm sure you will everyone here to help and very friendly :frow

Try giving your chicks some scrambled or hard boiled eggs to eat this will really help with the health of your young flock it also helps with the older ones also
