^^ My name is Joseiscool18 and I have been following this site for a while now and I finally decided to join this wonderful community! ^^ I have eight Rhode Island Reds (two adults and six chicks), an adult Ameraucana, an adult Black Australorp, and two ducklings! ^^ I can't wait to hear y'all's advice and help. ^^

How long have you had them for?

I've had them for 4 months. But I've been a chicken keeper for a year. I had five red chickens that got eaten by opossums.

I have been a chicken keeper for around a year as well. I originally had a flock of six RIR's, but I lost four of them to a dog. Then I lost my Russian Orlaf to a hawk.

sorry for your loss. losing five is awful.

The four are my fault. I forgot to put the dog away while the chickens were out and when I came back from the chicken store, there were four dead chickens. My current adult RIRs are the only survivors.
