(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Very new to chickens. Hopefully picking up a few (3 or 4) chicks from the feedstore this week.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0

(3) What breeds do you have? I really like what I've read about EE's, but I'll have to wait and see what they have at the store. I don't think I'm ready for my first experience with chicks to be opening the box to see who did not make it.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Web search engine

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Almost too many to list, but here's a start: spinning yarn, knitting, weaving, reading, gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband and I have 1 daughter at home. We share our house with my mother, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 snake. We have a volunteer frog that lives in and around the pond in my vegetable garden.
