Hello, I do not raise chickens because of borough ordinance, but I do raise 6 Indian runner hens, and five white muscovy hens and one muscovy drake. I raise ducks for the eggs. I was sent a letter last august from the borough council breaking an ordinance. Nothing in the ordinace about a duck, or fowl, or bird, or barnyard animals. The ordinance does say non domestic and the mayor of this town thinks since a duck lays eggs it is non domestic, she thinks a cow is non domesticated too. Now I have been cited and found guilty for having ducks. The magistrate agrees with the borough too. The citation was even on a wrong tax property. Hello! And welcome! I'm not trying to be funny here but maybe you could teach your ducks a trick or two (like how to walk on a leash). Then, you could call them PETS which makes them domesticated. Really...it worked for me and my pig.

Emotional Support Ducks. No kidding, I did have a duck that walked on a leash when I was a little kid! "Quack" was a celebrity in the neighborhood!
