Welcome to Backyard Chickens! We are glad you joined the flock! BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry! There is always space for more members on the BYC roost! Add more than one hen to the flock in addition to Louise to reduce her chances of being top hen of the pecking order. A rooster with the hens is even better, just don't add pullets. She is a pretty Brown Leghorn BTW. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!

Glad to have you with us as a member. Louise is a beauty-- very happy and healthy looking. If she was a bit of a bully before, you might consider getting a larger chicken as her new friends. Maybe a barred rock or Rhode Island red. Good luck!
