Hello everyone! I'm new to chickens lol. I bought my first house with my husband this year in March and as a house warming gift my sister bought me 6 baby chicks. Then I bought 12 more the feed store in town had a deal buy 6 get 6 free. How can anyone pass up a good deal like that. Before getting baby chicks I swore I would never own chickens, they scared me now I love chickens! I currently have 23 chickens 4 are roosters and I'll add that they are not nice . Half of the "good deal" chicks i bought were black roosters with big white ears so I gave a few away. I am currently incubating eggs and have 5 days to go! I can't wait so far out of 12 eggs 10 are doing well! This is my first time incubating so it's very exciting! I'm excited to be here and learn about everything chicken!
