Welcome to you BOTH - @MissCora141 and @MariaE! I think most of us lurked for awhile before actually joining in. I know I did. I learned so much, simply by lurking and surfing and lurking some more. Then someone gave an answer that raised another question ... so I joined, just so I could ask it. Then someone else told a funny story that I SO had to respond to ... and someone else added a note that got everybody thinking ... and ...
Pretty soon a year of learning and fun was behind me and I feel like part of a real community! You just watch ... it won't take you long! Once you join everybody at the proverbial waterer, you're a part of the flock. Welcome!

I have 3 I think Isa Brown hens who are currently on egg laying strike. A silkie Rooster, silkie hen who’s currently broody for second time this winter. I think she’s young and then our unknown gender silkie! I also just tried for first time incubating and sadly only ended up with 3 silkie chicks but they are very adorable
