I was about to leave the site for a while, when I saw runnerducksrule as your name. Anyone who loves runner ducks HAS to be worth knowing!

I have nine runners, six of which I raised from ducklings. I can't imagine having any other breed of duck -- although we had mallards when I was growing up -- because runners are so comical and entertaining.

How long have you had your Delawares? I was considering some this spring, but the local farm store intrigued me with some other breeds before they got the Delawares in. Unfortunately, I am now at full housing capacity for chickens -- at least for a while.
