(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hello everyone! We've had chickens for about a year, however, some of them came with the house, so we have no idea how old they are.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 2 roosters, 3 guinea fowl, and 7 hens, a call duck and 3 Indian Runner Ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
We're not sure as we aquired them with the house purchase, but they are very small, and we think they are Bantams.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so funny to watch. Unfortunately, only 2 of them let us get close to them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We play a foam fighting game called Dagorhir. It takes place in Medieval times, so we also do some Role Playing and Reenacting. It is a really fun hobby.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of 3. My husband and I and our 6 year old son. We also have a Corgi.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've been following BYC for a few years, always wanted chickens & birds but just joined recently.
