Hello folks, Ive had critter predators and lost my birds, my neighbor has too. But I'll rebuild and start over. Im in my sixties, went through cancer, and want to produce healthy food and herbs. Ive got meat rabbits at the moment, many ready for freezer camp. Looking forward to chatting.

It takes 8 weeks for momma doe, then grow out till 12_14 weeks till they reach near 5 lbs. Fryers, fastest growth rate.

We used to raise California & New Zealand rabbits for meat when we had a little fam in Florida. What rabbit breeds are you raising?

True...they aren't going to jump in a stew pot on their own

When we had the meat rabbits, DH did the "deed" and I did the meat cooking. The first one we did bothered me (to eat it) but after that, it was easy (and good!).
