I love Speckled Sussuxes! Sadly, all mine died from eating Virginia Creeper berries, but now I have two spangled old English game bantams, and they are almost as beautiful. Almost.

Oh wow, that's terrible! Sorry to hear that. I hate losing chickens. I just looked up OEGB, and they are spectacular!! They look like they're an entertaining bird for sure

They are, but the rooster crows ALL DAY LONG!!! And his crow is the shrillest crow EVER! DO NOT get within 5 feet of him when he crows, it WILL break your ears.
Not even the hens like his crow. Once I saw him started to crow, but a hen older than him in pecking order have him a mean glare, and he stopped mid-crow!
Annoying Finn...
